RF Test Engineer

📍 Cambridge, UK | Full-time

I’m currently partnering with an innovative, fast-growing fabless semiconductor company in Cambridge that’s developing breakthrough RF technology to simplify RF front-end architectures for mobile and connected devices.

They’re now looking to hire a hands-on RF Test Engineer to join their growing development team.

🚀 The Role

This position sits at the heart of product development — providing critical hardware measurement feedback to ensure strong correlation between simulation, design, and real-world performance. It’s a highly practical, lab-based role with strong collaboration across RF design and systems teams.

🔍 What They’re Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar

• Strong RF fundamentals: S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, noise figure, linearity

• Experience with RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analysers, signal generators)

• Hands-on 3GPP measurements (LTE and/or NR)

• Experience developing repeatable RF test setups

• Test automation experience (Python, MATLAB or similar)

• Practical lab experience including PCB handling/soldering
