A leading provider of mixed signal, RF, and microwave semiconductor solutions for global communications markets, with products including mmWave MMICs, RF transceivers, and baseband processors, is seeking a Principal MMIC Engineer.
As a Principal MMIC Engineer you will be responsible for the development of MMICs and RF/microwave modules for both internal and external projects, supporting project teams, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development and marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, layout, and evaluation of MMICs and RF modules.
- Define project schedules and meet time, cost, and quality targets.
- Support technical development of the team and mentor junior engineers.
- Engage with clients and contribute to marketing and business growth.
- MMIC design experience (GaAs or GaN technologies).
- Proficiency with CAD tools like Keysight ADS or Microwave Office.
- Strong communication, organisational, and client engagement skills.
- Business awareness and marketing appreciation.
